Van Martin Roofing is a wonderful company to work with, Jared was quick to come out and give us a quote for exactly what we asked for and we didn’t feel any pressure to have any add ons or extras he listened to what we wanted and went from there. The product came in a lot sooner than what was estimated and the crew came out pretty much as soon as it came in to get started on the work, Carlos was our project manager and his communication throughout the process was fantastic and he personally came out to the job site to check in on the work every day the crew was out and ensured things were looking good and making sure we were happy with the work. I cannot recommend Van Martin Roofing enough and if I ever need anything in the future I will be sure to call them immediately. ~ Christina C

I contracted Van Martin roofing to replace the roof of my home. To start, the sales rep (Jesse) filled me in with information about the process of this project, answered questions about the estimate, and gave me a-lot of detail about what their services would encompass. Once I contracted them, their team was on-point with communication and setting up dates. Come the day of service, the Project Manager (Carlos) kept an open line of communication for me to ask questions and to update me on the status of the project. Carlos was very helpful. He and his team did an excellent job with my roof. I thank them all for their hard work! Overall, I am satisfied with my new roof and the services Van Martin provide. Ronnie was phenomenal at helping us pick our siding colors and style while also informing us of issues that may arise due to the state of our existing siding and gutters. He also went above and beyond his duties in helping with communication at the start of the project when we were not kept in the loop. Despite delays and setbacks, Carlos managed his team in a way that helped see our project through to completion. The team was respectful, kind, helpful, and extremely hard working, braving even the coldest elements. Carlos answered all the questions and concerns that I had and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. We have used Van Martin on our roof in the past, now we have used them for all new siding, soffits, and gutters, and we will continue to use them as the need may arise in the future. ~ Shonda R

Our experience was fantastic! From the phone call to contact VanMartin, the sales consultant (Scott), and a very professional, efficient, and experienced crew ! I was so impressed that Scott flew a drone over my house to find a skylight that had been installed in 2016, why it had leaked! Come to find out the company that put it in used our OLD Flashing😡Scott made sure Vellux still had the flashing that matched our skylight. To our luck, they did! The crew was so careful, and very, very little clean up🌹I rate Van Martin 10 stars! It was through some long research that I found Van Martin roofing, they had a 5 star rating. The first thing Mathew did when he met me was give me his card. Utmost level of professionalism and cleanliness. The entire process was smooth and communication was flawless. Quoted time was 4-8 weeks for installation. We had asked for no earlier than the 4 week mark due to our daughter's birthday party. Literally a week later they had availability and we agreed since we still had time before the birthday. The clean up process was taken seriously and everyone working inspected the area thoroughly. They hooked up the dumpster, pulled out of the driveway then walked the driveway and street to make sure they didn't miss anything. Super impressed and highly recommend this company. We had Van Martin come to look at our house due to a leak in the ceiling of a new home we had just purchased. I believe it was Taylor that came out for us. He was SO beyond helpful. Was completely honest about the damage and anticipated repairs, and the best route to take, and in being honest he saved us what could have been at leas a few hundred dollars. He quickly did a small fix himself, and let us know what to look for to make sure that fix worked. It won't be the solve for the long run but will last quite a few months until we can get it properly updated. He could have not let us know this and charged more but that's clearly not the type of person he is or company this is. Honesty and integrity can be lacking these days so I was very, very impressed and would absolutely use their services again. ~ Heather R

This review is submitted on behalf of my Aunt V. Taylor. Mike and Jarred provided exceptional customer service while responding to a warranty call at my aunt’s residence. They listened carefully to my aunt’s concerns. On a very cold day they the climb on the roof without a second thought. They identify caulking was need and took care of the issue. The gave great feedback on the cracks in the stone chimney that will need some repairs. It’s good to know exceptional service oriented people like Mike and Jarred still exist. Our experience with Van Martin Roofing and South Dayton Exterior Solutions was excellent . As homeowners we required complete roof replacement as well as gutter replacement /guard installation with soffit repair . Ronnie Young provided professional sales service and was a pleasure to work with. His knowledge and expertise made our decision to proceed easy and he was available to answer questions and was very thorough . The roofing and gutter install teams offered wonderful workmanship and took good care of our property and landscaping . The project was completed in a timely manner that exceeded our expectations. I have had Van Martin come to my home to discuss repairs of my dormers from work by a previous local roofer constantly advertized on Channel 2. I did not expect the high standards for a small job. But Scott Lainhart arrived and my wife and I found him to be a seasoned professional who was considerate and very knowlwdgable. I have found him to be a very dedicated and a responsible individual. He demonstrates expertise in working with all aspects regarding roofing, dormers, gutters, ect. Scott demonstrated great foresight and strategies to keep my roof lasting for a few more years. He is an effective communicator. He articulated my roofing needs. He came up with future improvments and with creative suggestions and solutions. He exceeded my quality standards. VanMartin is great! They replaced my roof 3 years ago. After purchasing the house. I have been doing a little remodeling and keep finding where water had been coming, probably for years mind you, and they graciously, and professionally come out and fix it. I feel bad at times because having there repair truck in front of my house often. I don't want people to get the wrong impression and think they did a bad job. Mind you in the places I'm finding wet spots have probably been wet for years. Love them. Have also recommended them to family and friends who have had no complaints. Great experience from start to finish! The van martin team replaced my roof and gutters. They were all very professional and obviously knew what they were doing! Each evening the team picked up and left the yard in good condition. Adam or James would come by once or twice a day and was up on the roof themselves to make sure the job was being performed correctly. When the job was complete the team made sure to pick up and used a magnet to find nails on the ground. The finished job looks great! Communication was great from start to finish! I am very impressed with Van Martin Roofing! Van Martin replaced my roof about 7 years ago, after the last rain storm a small spot formed on the bedroom ceiling from the roof leaking. I went into the attic and looked at it didn't see much went outside and I could see the shingles poking up just a little. Called Van Martin Jared Miller came out right away and identified the problem was a warped deck board. Which is nothing they replaced so I knew this wouldn't be covered under warranty. Next day I get a text that they will be covering it under warranty. I really appreciate that Van Martin covered it under warranty they really didn't have to. ~ Jason d

I just had my roof replaced by Van Martin Roofing and the whole experience was exceptional from the first contact with their knowledgeable sales rep, Jim Honious who checked problem areas to give best solutions for us to to the job completion. They uses Certain Teed Shingles which have a very good rating and warranty. The company also offers a very good protection plan. The assigned project manager, Hunter, kept us informed and followed up on completion. The crew did outstanding work and a very thorough cleanup on completion. Excellent experience with Van Martin Roofing on our recent roofing/shingle replacement project. Office personnel, advisors, supervisors, and workers were knowledgeable, customer-friendly, and committed to excellent workmanship. We are so happy we had the professionals from VanMartin Roofing on our extensive roof replacement project. Everything was well executed, on time and the clean up was fast! From the salesman Dustin who educated us on shingles and application , to the project manager Tyler who took great pride daily in the way the installation was progressing. We hired Van Martin to replace a porch roof and do some custom trim/flashing and I couldn't be more pleased. They got us into their schedule quickly, the crew showed up early and got right to work. All the guys were polite, had a great attitude, and worked hard. They didn't mind me asking questions and were very enthusiastic about doing a good job. Several times I said - "that's fine, that's good enough" - but Jeremy wouldn't have it; Robert didn't say much but I could tell he really took pride in his work; Geraldo kept moving and never slacked off; and Stanley supported everyone so that the whole crew could be productive. Lastly, James, who sold us the job, came back to check on how things went and made sure the work met his standard - which is very high. At the end of the day, I felt like they treated the job like it was their own home - or more likely their Mom's! Good job and thank you! Van Martin roofing has really impressed me. We experienced roof damage during a spring storm and after seeing all the positive reviews from satisfied customers, we asked Van Martin to come give us an estimate. They did better than that. Where other companies give “estimates” Van Martin gives “quotes” which means unlike other roofing companies the quote they give is what you pay with no surprise changes after the fact. I was also very impressed that every member of the Van Martin team was focused on saving us money when possible. The full job took only a day and I was surprised that after such a short amount of time that our roof looks immaculate. Not only did they upgrade our roof with proper ventilation but they also saved us from a potentially bigger issue because when we saw the wood that they replaced, I couldn’t believe that it didn’t cave in a long time ago. Van Martin roofing went through the process of getting my roof replaced with the nightmare of dealing with the insurance company. Scott put many hours in and even took time after dinner with his wife to take pictures of an area of my roof that the insurance adjuster had issues with that he had explained many times to him was not a problem. Carlos and his crew took only 13 hrs in one day to complete my roof that has a very steep pitch and two dormers that are also very steep. If you have to have a roof replaced I would definitely recommend them. ~ Champ M

Kyle was a great project manager who was readily available for any questions or concerns I had. We highly recommend Van Martin Roofing. We had solar tubes installed and, in coordination with two other contractors, had roof vents installed for bathroom and oven vents we purchased. From top to bottom Van Martin Roofing was a pleasure to work with, provided superb service and did excellent work. Jared and Mike were our installers and did very good work consulting/communicating with us from the time they arrived until they left at the end of the day.
